Over the weekend the New Zealand Airforce held an Airshow at Ohakea airbase. It was a great chance to enjoy a trip through the history of the New Zealand airforce over its 75 years of existence. Over the next week or so I will be featuring the images I captured at the Airshow, with each post featuring a different aircraft. Today’s post is of the de Havilland Vampire developed during World War II. For more information on this early jet, click the following link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/De_Havilland_Vampire
